This whole eclipse thing really has people all a flutter. I just wrote a post about it this morning. I have a feeling we are going to be too cloudy here to see anything. My relatives down in Ohio have school off for it and college classes are canceled. Some towns are declaring a state of emergency already.

I saw that, @bozz. Originally I was going to go to Texas. I'm really hoping for a clear day for the eclipse but that's something we're trying for just because it's happening. It would be a bummer if it was cloudy, but now I'll be able to go through and visit my parents and see some friends.
That is cool. It's definitely a much bigger deal than I would have guessed. The fact that it crosses so many major areas is kind of impressive I have to admit. It will be good to see your family.
