Beautiful paintings. I love it when they are as beautiful as they are, but they also convey a slice of time and life. About the red parts of the road, I was wondering if it was not just red soil so I looked around, and looks like it might just be clay. Red soil was more prevalent in the neighboring town of El Dorado it seems. I have no idea how accurate this assertion is as it came my way through gpt4, but it sounds plausible :) Thanks for showcasing some cool art.
Could be clay although we don't have a lot of clay here, it's rare, but who knows.
True. That path reminded me of my village when I was young but the red then was due to red soil and bricks that were being used for the local construction. Isn't it interesting to think of how much the artist took in like a photo and how much they let their imagination add value from other ideas they had? It is wonderful.
It is wonderful indeed.
