I'm kind of weird when i select which images to feature. I don't always pick the best shots to show. I usually pick my favorite but not always.
I scroll through the whole post, when i am making the curation compilation, of each post at a time and i will factor in the title, the theme, which image they used for the thumbnail, which one i think is best, and then which is my favorite.
I kind of average all of that out... and sometimes the curation post ends up having a theme so even that is at play. Also, i try to keep something to still be revealed for when people go to check out the post on their own. It's a science to me but i enjoy that process. You all have such great content to go through it's quite a joy for me.
You had some really awesome shots in your post there... but i am pretty partial to macro myself. Sorry for the novel of an answer but you triggered me in a good way. hahaha
