That was really cool to read about the 'decisive moment.' I remember being taught in school to anticipate action and to either be there in advance or to track with the target and wait for the perfect moment. I didn't pay much attention because, to me, that was an obvious common-sense approach if you wanted to actually get the perfect action shots. But, to know a bit more about that as a technique was really cool. Thanks Stef

It is a term that is almost 100 years old. Street photography was something totally new back then and many things that we consider today as obvious, was tabula rasa!
I am glad you found that interesting. I wasn't sure when I wrote it, if anyone would care about this little peice of history :)

Even tabula rasa was interesting to look up. I should study more about the history of photography! Thanks for the insights.... and i am glad you added those factoids!
