That rain must have felt good after 52 days of no rain, and a heatwave. The weather you had over there this summer was reported on the UK news quite extensively, and it looked horribly hot.

The photos from your trip are amazing! I can imagine cool shady air and the spray from the falls... Fabulous! 😀

The heatwave and fires were no joke - I believe around 700 people died, which is unprecedented here. The rain was very, very welcome!

Glad you like the images so much :) I hope to visit your forests someday too!

That's awful. What a terrible time it must have been for everyone.

There is some very beautiful countryside in the UK. Nothing is on the same scale as Canada though. I visited Carmanah on the island a looooong time ago, and it was incredible. We camped for 3 days, and it left a lasting impression on me. I don't think anywhere in the UK could feel as remote. I really wish I'd been into photography at the time! :)
