Hello Everyone

May we always be in a healthy and happy condition

Warm greetings to all of Photography Lovers friends, in this post I'll share photos taken with a smartphone camera and an 100mm macro lens. The topic of today's discussion is a spider sitting on its web.

Spiders are a type of animal that is a threat to insects because these predators ambush their prey by using a web that can paralyze their prey before they are eaten, although spiders have an interesting side that is displayed in their various shapes and colors.

Trichonephila clavipes - source from WikipediA is the scientific name for the spider I'm sharing today; this insect-eating animal is known as the banana spider because of its brightly colored body, which resembles a banana. I photographed him as he sat on the net, having just finished eating the insects caught in the net.

This Banana Spider has a body size of 3 to 5 cm depending on its age. I saw this spider web made between the starfruit tree trunks with several layers as a trap for insects that pass until they are finally caught and eaten by the spiders. Often insects that pass through the spider's base will be immediately overwhelmed and difficult to escape because the web has a sticky texture if it hits other animals.

I like taking photographs of small objects because it requires a lot of effort and precision, especially when trying to photograph moving objects like insects and beetles. Hopefully, my content today will be helpful to everyone, and I hope to be able to share better photography content in the future than I have in the past.

Thank You
