Samara region, area of the village of Timashevo. Kinel River, destroyed dam. Due to the constant noise of the water, it is called “Shumok”. Locals say that in the 90s of the 19th century there was a mill and a power plant. As they say, this entire farm did not work for long, was abandoned and began to collapse. Now you can find only the remains of the dam and stones at the bottom of the river. According to another version, the dam was built for the needs of a sugar factory, which is located in the village nearby. In any case, the place is interesting. In summer it is full of tourists and kayakers. Sometimes they even hold rafting competitions through these rapids. This trip was not very lucky with the weather, there was snow, but these places are still very beautiful.
