Industrial monument

IMG_7577.jpg

An unusual industrial monument in a small town in the Ural Mountains. The town of Tirlyansky. Once upon a time there was a large metallurgical plant here, but production gradually declined. And in 1994, a natural disaster occurred, as a result of heavy rains, the dam on the reservoir was washed away, the water washed away part of the village and the industrial zone completely. Only the ruins of one of the workshops remained, and this wheel. Moreover, this wheel was once part of the production line. It was painted, the area nearby was tidied up, a monument to the metallurgist was erected and a piece of rock with ore was placed as a sample. In general, it turned out quite original

It's nice shots, really. My city used to be one of the leading industrial cities in my country.

Do you have any industrial monuments?
