The Maly Inzer River

IMG_7147.jpg

The Maly Inzer River in the wilds of Bashkiria. The river is not deep, but the current is quite strong, so it is very popular with canoeists and rafters on catamarans. At one time, there were even rapids competitions here. There are many campsites on the banks where tourists spend the night during long routes. As the locals say, not long ago there were more serious rapids here, but work was carried out to strengthen the railway embankment nearby. The river bottom was cleared, and there are fewer rapids. On one side of the river there are almost vertical cliffs overgrown with forest, on the other side - the Karatash ridge, which has another name, the Teeth of Shurale. A place of pilgrimage for tourists from all over the country
