Hey there fellow photo enthusiasts, MERRY XMAS AND A HUGE HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
I hope that Santa bought you all the xmas pressies that you wanted this year- the new camera, lenses, flashes, sd cards, etc and the locations to shoot in!
I was lucky enough to go on my first Holiday in 8 years for my birthday in Oct/Nov and took myself to Sydney for the first part of it and had The. BEST. TIME. EVER with just me and my new camera (which was almost a year old by then!) a Nikon P950 and what a brilliant camera it is (when it works properly...)
So yes, it was having a few issues with its focusing and a few other things, but I managed to get some great shots out of it and I thought that I'd like to share them here with you as I was lucky enough to do something that I have always wanted to do, and that is go sailing on a tallship, a replica of the British first fleet tall sailing ships that first sailed into Australia and stole the land off the first nations people.
And that's a whole other nasty story that I won't go into here right now, for right now, I'd like to share some artistically inspired photos with you of this wonderfully peaceful, floating piece of historical art and I would love to know which one's your favourite because I'm having hard time choosing!
And you might even recognise some other famous landmarks in there too!

We had a great Christmas holidays… we moved out of Spain and are since the 19th of December in transit… we left today the in-laws in England, where we stayed 2 weeks. To travel further towards our end destination. A new country, new adventures and new beginnings. We will be in transit, traveling until 16th of January. And I hope I can move into a rental that day 😎😁
I so understand my friend, no worries. I hope you can one day soon have some more “you time”

wow pictures look amazing as always, where to choose from?? you had a nice sailing trip, looks very old, reminded me of my experience in Scotland with one of the oldest ships. I dont know but it gives chill to know that it is that many years old and thought of it very risky :P

WOW so finally your friend on-boarded Hive world, good to hear that. This is one of the hardest thing to do in my opinion, you have to give a lot of time to make newbies understand the working criteria and mechanism in here. Reminding me of myself as a newbie, I did lots of mistakes but my brother supported and guided me a lot, same thing many times LOL

Yes it is soooo easy to explain and share with everyone BECAUSE WE LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH, but sooo hard when it comes time to get them on, especially if they are like my friend @yurpia who has to do 4 feeds a day with her orphaned joeys, plus work and all of the other things she has to do. even for me, I'm used to blogging on Hive now, but it's hard to find the time, so for her, well...we'll have to see...

Well, that is the difficult thing but hope for the best and good luck with her new approach, hope she will get along with Hive and learn the ways how to handle and post in here, engagement is the key so, ask her to make good friends and relations in this hive world or you may ask her to join some good discord channels which would help her directly.
Yes I have told her she needs to make friends but she is not great on the computer so everything she does takes her longer than most people and she hasn't got a lot of time to begin with so I'm slowly giving her both computer and Hive lessons with out overloading her too much.
But she did manage to get another couple of posts up and is slowly making friends, so thank you for being one of her first friends on here! 😃

I am on my 12th day straight working and have a few more days to go before I get a day off so I'm quite tired but luckily I have been working from home, and although I work just as hard, I feel more relaxed and not as stressed or angry so I am determined to get some Hive time in!

Hey just finished my 13th day straight and tomorrow I have planned a trip to bunnings- my favourite hardware shop, Savers, my favourite op shop, then karaoke with my flatmate and his friends- for me for the first time in years- infact since I sang on stage in St Petersburg in Florida one night back in 1998!
And last night I played with the moon and one of these flowers and it looks cool but just not quite finished, I was going to do it now but the only thing my brian wants to do is watch netflix...

I have "suddenly" (😳) become aware I can buy a home (nothing extravagant) right here and not move to NJ for maybe cheaper than my other plan.
The only advantage is I would own it instead of renting, and I get to stay in south Tex-Ass... I have become a little afraid of the cold..
But it is up in the air, mind not made up, but did look at a place - it would work!
