Nice shots! I have shot exactly one wedding (in the USA) and hope never to do that again. I suspect the battle against time isn't unique to Nigerian weddings, it was definitely the case for that one. Out of curiosity, does the whiskey flow freely at weddings there?
Love the idea of doing a shoot just to show off how good it can look if you're allowed to do it right. How many photographers were participating in the shoot?
Wedding photography is stressful. I totally understand why you would not wish to do another one. That was my case too, but I learned to love photographing weddings despite their challenges. In Nigeria, photography isn't so diversified. Only portrait and wedding photography brings the bucks.
I used to think weddings were better organized in the US. It's crazy to learn that the battle against time still exists there. And yes, the whiskey does flow freely for sure. That's an aspect of Nigerian weddings that cannot fail.
We were about 4 photographers on set. We are friends, so we worked as a unit and took turns shooting and sharing the content after. It was super fun.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm grateful.
