Our 'lockdown' here was much like the curfews we got when protests got lively; almost completely unenforced and mostly in name only. It's wild now that even those 'restrictions' are gone, especially when you skim the news and see how many are still dying of covid elsewhere.
My father once told me 'sometimes life teaches the best lessons' and one way or another I'm afraid that a lot of people are going to be learning those lessons soon.
Stay safe my friend. Aside from Bibi being gone nothing I'm seeing coming out of your neck of the woods appears to bode well (and calls to mind bad memories from last year).
Who says being a pessimist is a bad thing? It has been my experience that it's the safer bet. Speaking of pessimism and freedom, are you familiar with Max Stirner? To paraphrase badly, freedom is just an idea(spook) in peoples' heads and you only have as much as you create for yourself. For me at least there is some solace to be found in that when the outlook is on the bleak side.

yes, you're right in what you're saying here - freedom is in our mind and we are only the owners of our freedom. I really hope for some changes here, still not sure about so don't attend the celebrations about
