This is a nice wild cherry tree I found today in my city. This was nice as cherries are over 2 dollars per pound in the store for this exact type. I have seen this tree growing for a few years, as a bird must have dropped the seed pit when flying over one day. And now it grew to this, and there is no worms inside.
I let the cherrys float in water for a while to see if some worms might have floated out. Also I opend them and none inside any of the cherries. Also the cherries have no holes outside, they are all fresh. I think I will make cherry wine this year, as I have found a few of the trees around the city. Time to make some cherry pie dough I will be making some pie as well this week. Should I learn how to can the cherry's as well?
