Hello on the last day of the year 2021!
What a year it was, huh?
I already wrote a recap of my year in my post as participation to Photography Lovers End of Year Contest
We can’t pass by the Hive price pump in second half of 2021, which is not actually a pump, but the reality as it stabilizes at 1.5 $. This is an awesome number through my point of view, but I believe that there is even bigger potential, and we could see even a 5$ mark in 2022. if you didn’t make an entry yet, make sure you do. There is still a little bit of time, till our team will choose the winners. We have really amazing number of entries and that was one of the most successful contests, we ever did in my opinion. So big thank you to @derangedvisions for the idea and organisation as well. Quality of majority of participation posts was really high as I already mentioned and that reflects to the Hive growth in year 2021. Lately a lot of new users joined our World and sure, we get some shitty posts with it, but I saw a lot of newbies who will bring added value to our blockchain.
My posting pattern changed a bit in 2021 as I kind of had a lot of going on in my real life with the movement and new family member, so at the beginning of the year I only posted about twice per month, but now I returned back to about three posts per week, which is the right amount I would say that you are not bored of my stuff, but not to miss me too much as well :)
I have to admit, that I made a big change with my Hive economics as well. I always powered up all my Hive till this year, or better say till June this year. Why a change? I throw myself into an NFT World a bit as well. I read an article from a fellow hivean about NBA Top Shot at the beginning of the year and become a bit addicted with it. I joined on the last day of February and at that time it was a real boom, so I am happy I didn’t invest much at that time, but when market went down, I saw the opportunity and transfer a lot of my staked Hive into Top Shot. Not only as an investment, but more for “fun”. I really enjoying collecting moments and I am looking forward to where this project will lead me. Hopefully I will be able to get some big one soon and possible invest / return back in Hive. Looking back, it would be much better leaving Hive saving alone as the price raised so much from my first and actually majority of my transfers at around 0.3 $. I couldn’t know and I am not an expert, so that is more for fun as I already told you. My commitment in 2022 is, not to power down! I won’t use power down anymore. I might cash out some HBD or other Hive income, but my HP will be at 5k and growing…
Well that was a bit of a background from the other perspective. That I won’t always just write about travels and family. But I can’t go without photography. So even today and especially today, I will share some of my very best photos. Last year on the same last day, I did best photos for goodbye of 2020, but at that time I had a lot of nice photos from that year. With the current situation and all the things which happened to me in 2021, I didn’t manage to create that many quality shots, so I decided to share top 21 photos all time. I will not necessarily include all of my best work as I have to save some for the other occasions, but I am sure you will find some nice ones below. In 2022 I wish to go on at least one bigger travel again and create some new memories and capture them with my camera of course. Till then, I will include many destinations I visited in recent years and feel free to ask questions or leave any comment in the comment section below.

Wow. All the pics are amazing but I like the minimalist landscape with the sand dune and the dead tree branch the best. I wish I could participate in the photography contest All my pics are wildlife ( mostly birds) and do not compare to spectacular ones like you all. I will go through the entries and enjoy them though. It is awesome that such great photography talent is coming to HIVE platform. Frankly, I like the ecosystem and the due diligence by members of communities here. I do not really care what the hive price is. With such great participation,I am sure it will ultimately keep going up.

Well each photography is special and what is nice is very subjective and depends of many things. So I am sure, you have some nice photos in your archive.
Overall this contest is mainly about your experience and your view on year 2021. It is not that much about photography quality.

Well, true. There are many types of photographs. I am not saying my photos are not good - for wildlife type photos, I have some excellent shots, taken with a lot of effort However, they may not invoke interest in everyone like a beautiful landscape photo does. Anyway - at least I am out of my shell now and have started posting my pics and thoughts on Hive. Hope I am able to keep people interested and become a valuable contributor to Hive.
