Hello dear Hive nation,
How are you doing?
Some of you who read my blog and comment section in details already knew where I am heading for my next travel. I decided to go to Dallas, Texas. I booked the flight ticket and started planning my trip, so it is officially confirmed that I will be in the air soon. How soon? In about a month time as my departure from Ljubljana is on 1st of March 2022. I will be there for a little over a week. My main purpose for travel is Luka Doncic. I want to show support to my favourite basketball player and the Dallas Mavericks as the team I am cheering for. Mavs will have three home games in that span of my visit including the Warriors. Beside that I am lucky that LA Kings in NHL will be on the road at Dallas Stars, so I will get to watch another Slovenian sports star on work.
For sure that is not all I will be doing there, but more from my travel plans in some of the following posts. I will try to share my travel plan and later on the result with some nice travel posts as well.
Regarding photography, until I get some new stuff, I will share some of the portraits I created on my last travel on the other continent which was to Ethiopia back in early January 2020.

Apparently, 2022 will be productive for you in terms of travel. Follow your favorite team, probably tantamount to traveling :)

Wow. Those are some awesome photos! It's fascinating to see other cultures. I never had the luck to be able to travel around the world.
As a German dude I am not really familiar with basketball but due to Nowitzki I was sided with the Mavs.

I will try to do some photos too, but my main photography focus on this travel will be elsewhere.

That's a culture that's hard to imagine. It's hard to imagine how so many things can be done to the human body. But the photo is a little too important.
Yes, it is hard to imagine all the craziness people do. But what seems crazy to some, other finds normal and vica versa. That is the beauty of mankind.
The photos are very beautiful, but I wish I had discovered more details about the people and civilization shown in the blog.
I will do my best to get up the post showing each culture and explaining a bit about them. I wouldn't like to promiss any timetable, but it will come...
On the road again Andy you sure sound excited, without the young family I assume.
Nice photography from your tours, always amazing to see how many cultures run scars or tattoos as part of the traditional right of passage.

Hope you get to enjoy those games and watch the Slovenian stars! Well, Lucas is a world star. What a player ! Regarding those photos from Ethiopia, I was left speechless. I would like to know the story behind some of those pictures. I am assuming those wounds in their skins are part of some cultural rites/customs as well as the body painting and decoration. Amazing shots !
