Their way of life

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and that you had a nice Halloween yesterday.
In Slovenia, Halloween is not really popular and my family didn’t “celebrate” that holiday either. Anyway I am sure it is a special holiday, especially in USA and I would love to be there once at the time of Halloween.

What is new? I am officially starting my new job tomorrow, so I am a bit nervous before my start, but it is not too bad. I am confident all will go well and that my co-workers will offer me full support.

In any case, I will be in better position than these people in Ethiopia, who doesn’t actually have a realistic chance to have a decent employment even if they would want to. Some of the tribes don’t even have a lot of contact with civilization. Well they are living in a different World, but they don’t even know ours and therefore they don’t miss it. If I am honest I miss their way of living sometimes as they have no stress, no time pressure, much more relaxed, but of course tougher in many many ways.

Enjoy my gallery of people from Ethiopia and wish me luck for tomorrow…

Faces of life, living off the land. Life is hard somehow they always smile, help one another and make life a little better for each other.

@tipu curate

Smile is very powerful indeed.
Usually smile always brings another smile.

Thank you for your support!

Rural folk really endure with a smile. Children photography reveals miserable conditions, yet still a happiness in simple living.

Completelly a different aspect of life...a different world altogether...

Indeed.
We don't even know what we got, until we encounter something like that.

There is so much beauty in this life they live too. Thanks for sharing sir.

Sure it is.
Different way, but maybe even more beautiful...

Thank you for yoir kind words, appreciate it.
Have a nice one!

Hello dear friend @ crazy-andy good day
Be calm, everything will be fine, introduce yourself as you are. Success in the new job.

I also think the same, when something does not go as I wish, I always think that there are people who are much worse off than me, and yet they live a very happy life with much less than what I have.

This is another place that I would love to visit. you can learn a lot from these people

In my home we do not celebrate Halloween this year either, Hay was my granddaughter's birthday celebration, and the theme we used was all tropical

I wish you a great day dear friend. Successes

Thanks for your encouraging words.

It is wise to take a step back and thing about each situation and really how worse can it actually be on many occasions.

Viaiting place like Ethiopia really opens your eyes.

I hope you had a nice celebration and wish you a great rest of the day...

Good luck with the new job man.

Thanks buddy!

I hope I will have some extra time during my job to nominate a post or two before @castleberry do :)
And don't tell the bosses...

Ya it is getting harder to beat him with the nominations. lol

For them it is their way of life, they are used to it, they are not pending to improve their quality of life because they do not know civilization, but to put themselves in their place, is to be sure how cruel the world continues to be with some people.

That is true.
They don't know the different life, so they are happy with how the things are and nkt wanting more and more constantly like we in modern society...

Thank you for showing the world the daily life you guys have there. It's awesome to see people from different parts of the world. And I wish you all the best in your new job.

Thank you for stopping by.
I am not living in Ethiopia, I just went on a travel there back in 2020.

I see. Thank you for showing their daily lives. I wish you a great week ahead!

Tierras olvidadas por las demás civilizaciones, gente que sufre por las tiranías, pero aun así sonríe ante la adversidad gente bella - //- Lands forgotten by other civilizations, people who suffer from tyrannies, but still beautiful people smile in the face of adversity. Greetings. @loco-andy.

Smile is costless, but yet so powerful...

Superb set of photos! Best wishes with the new job.
Slovenia doesn't do Halloween? Excellent, see you next year :-)

Thank you for the compliment and hope to see you here :)

Thanks for sharing some very compelling photos of a part of the world I have never been to.
I think there are advantages to having no contact with the rest of the world. Part of me wishes I could experience that, because this world causes so much pain. To be free of it would be amazing. But of course, to survive without modern convenience is not easy.

Each way of living has its own advantages and disadvantages. Probably small % would change our developed way of life for the other one, but seeing how happy people can be...
It is a unique experience.

Good luck in your new job position, and agree that sometimes the stressful times of modern world feels a burden compared to a simple way of living, but sadly most african countries still have a long way ahead to achieve a better wellfare which I hope they do because it is such a beautiful continent with such rich beautiful raw nature

Ohhh nature there is just spectacular. And some countries are already developed well, so not all of them are like Ethiopia on the photos.
Definitelly and interesting continent.

I have been watching a YouTuber that is traveling the whole continent in his motorbike and it shows such a beautiful nature.

These were beautiful to view. Look at the smile on that faces you can tell how happy they were genuinely

Smile in Africa is so special. Some of the nicest things you can experience...

Good luck for tomorrow! I do admire the innocent way of enjoying life as it is of those who still live off the land. There is something in their way of living which has been lost by the modern society where the human can buy anything from the grocery store. They also have a strong sense of community, something which is admirable

First day is behind me and all went well!
Thank you for the encouragement.

Well they are living totally different life. The one, we don't even know. In some aspects, they are living better for sure.

So poor and yet so rich. Isn't it amazing how happiness is literally opposite from material accumulation?

Yes, I was impressed by exactly that over and over again visiting Africa.

I wasn't in Africa yet, but it is on my wish list for sure! Do you have any recommendations?

Sure!
Nabibia <3

thanks for sharing these shots from this proud culture. may it thrive in the future

I think it is combination of both. And we have to know that my visit was mostly to remote parts, villages. Their capital is just the "normal" city. But therefore it is not that interesting to us...
