Back in Jun before the snow came in I went on a trip, scouting out areas deep west in Kosciuszko National Park (Australia)

On the second day we woke and saw the sky had started to turn purple so we headed out to capture the sunrise.

That light eventually died down but in it’s place was the sun rising in the slot of the valley between to mountains - we couldn’t have planned the alignment better.

As the sun rose it created these amazing beams shooting up through the clouds…that was a gooood sunrise
