I’ve always had a habit of car spotting, but it wasn’t until I started doing Instacart and am now out and about every single day that I finally started taking photos of all the cool cars that I see.
You may have seen the last edition of my car spotting adventures where I saw all sorts of special cars. I’m back yet again with more heat and this time there is even a bright yellow Lotus. If you are a car enthusiast then you already know what type of cars Lotus builds. They are usually super lightweight and made to be a true driver's car, often with little tech or luxury on the interior.
I’ve got 10 cars to share with you today, well some are SUVs, but all are badass in their own way. Enjoy!
Lotus Evora GT
As I just mentioned, this Lotus is such a special car. Most people would look at it from afar and assume it’s a Ferrari or some other exotic. Little do they know that this thing can be had for under $100k. I had seen this car previously, but not since last summer before I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max with these awesome cameras. It was parked in my garage, so I was able to take my time and get some nice shots of it.
Range Rover Evoque
This car isn’t all that special in terms of performance. It’s still a Range Rover though. Most importantly it is painted in the gorgeous Moraine Blue color – inspired by the turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It’s the color that does it for me.
Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet
This Porsche is another car that I often see in my parking garage, but had never photographed until recently. It’s of course just some old man who drives it, but that doesn’t stop the car from being a total head-turner. The fact that you can let the top down and drive it as a convertible makes this such a perfect summer car.
Fiat 500 Abarth
You most likely look at this car and think of it as a puny little Fiat 500. Usually, I’d agree with you, but this is the Abarth edition. If you are unaware of the performance perks of Abarth, then I highly suggest that you check out this video by Doug DeMuro. This car is fairly uncommon and I hadn’t seen one around here in forever. To my surprise, I saw two different ones in one week. The first of which had new tags so I know the owner must be happy to have their new car. The 500 Abarth is said to be one of the most enjoyable driver’s cars under $10k used. It’s slightly under 200hp, but its lightweight body allows it to feel pretty quick and tossable.
Bentley Continental R '92
This was the first car that I had to look up to find the exact model. I knew it was an old Bentley when I first saw it but had no clue what the year was. After some research, I determined that the car was just as old as me as it was a 1992 model. To me, the 90s is one of the ugliest eras of cars, but a Bentley is a Bentley. This car originally sold new for over $200k.
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG
I posted another G-Wagon in a different car spotting post where I said there was an AMG version around town that I had yet to photograph. Luckily, I did finally see the AMG once again and was able to capture some photos of it. They usually always park right outside of my parking garage and yet again that’s where they were. This G63 AMG initially distracted me from the Lotus Evora that was inside the garage. I didn’t even notice it at first but was able to photograph both cars one after another.
BMW M6
I saw this thing in traffic and the guy was driving like a maniac. It flew by me going 60 mph on a 35 mph speed zone. It had new plates so I take it the guy had just got the thing and was just hyped to have such a nice car. I understand where he is coming from as the 560hp twin-turbo V8 has got to be a total joy to be behind the wheel of.
Nissan GTR
I’ve posted this car in another car spotting post, but this time I was able to get some way better photographs of it. I also got to talk to the owner a bit, although he was a super shy Mexican guy and I’m not sure that he wanted to talk to me much. I am just say too personable to not have a conversation with a guy that’s parked right next to me loading up one of my dream cars with groceries.
Land Rover Defender
This was parked outside of one of the customers that I delivered to. Since they brought the Defender back into production, I’ve been seeing them everywhere. It’s one of those bigger SUVs that is meant to go mist places that normal cars could never dream of driving.
Dodge Challenger
Last but not least is this bright green Challenger. I’m not the biggest fan of the Challenger, but I do still have a little love for it. This color is really what caught my attention though. I’m happy for whoever it was that recently purchased that car.
There we have it folks. As promised, 10 dope rides that I was lucky enough to run into out in the wild recently. It’s funny that I consider car spotting one of my main hobbies. This is something that I will continue to do in the future. Be sure to follow me if you enjoy this type of content.

Lotus has always been one of my all-time favorites. Nice find, you don't them often.
Me too, the Elise and Exige were always some of my favorite cars to drive in classic racing games. The new Emira looks amazing!

That blue was quite possibly my favorite color I’ve ever seen on a car. The Defenders are pretty popular around here because our roads aren’t the greatest and people prefer off-roaders.
Sad news. The guy with the red GTR traded it in for a brand new Shelby F-150 because he said our roads were too sketchy. 775hp supercharged v8 still isn’t as cool as the twin turbo GTR in my opinion.
All cars have their own beauty, but I find the first car more beautiful. My favorite car is still Audi.
I hope I can get some photographs of the blacked out Audi R8 that I’ve seen from afar a few times in my area. I want you to see how awesome it is.

The range rover is my dream car, I shall buy it in the future. I always think about this beauty.
Range Rovers were in a lot of hip hop music videos when I was younger. So myself and many others always dreamed of having one to be cool like our favorite rappers.

In his defense, that garage has the tiniest parking spots. If I were him I'd be taking up two spots anyway so that nobody parks next to me and fucks up my nice car by accident.
