Hi to all my fellow hivers! This is the last part of our tri-blog on my cousin's spectacular wedding to her lovely bride. And finally, I’m gonna end this blog today.
WEDDING RECEPTION
First, let me explain what a wedding reception is. A Wedding Reception is a celebration held following the completion of the wedding ceremony as hospitality for those who have attended the wedding. The pair receive society, in the form of family, relatives, and friends, for the first time as a married couple.
Following the wedding ceremony, there will be a reception. Yes, we may have varied traditions during the wedding reception, but they almost always include a meal, music, a speech, and even dancing.
This event serves as a welcome to everyone who came to the wedding.
Right after the wedding ceremony in the church, we quickly returned back to Oasis Hotel for the wedding reception. The scenery itself captivated me as soon as I entered the venue. So serene, clean, the silver linings, it seems natural, and very romantic place I could say.
I was really struck by the beauty of the location. The decorations, the ark, and the fact that the groom is a sailor or a seaman worker. I enjoyed taking the time seeing their arc style decorations from ceiling down to its table and admire their beautiful scenery. I can tell a perfect place for your solemn-intimate wedding. It's a bit pricy, but it's money well spent.
THE ENTOURAGE ENTERTAINMENT
The entourage party was the first thing we did. We literally dance by pair with Tiktok music songs, starting with the parents, main sponsors, ninangs and ninongs, groomsmen and bridesmaids, and ending with the best man and maid of honor.
Last but not least, Mr. and Mrs. Plaza, our newlywed pair! Hahaha
WEDDING TOASTS
From entourage party, a warm messages from someone very important people called wedding toasts.
Wedding Toasts are usually made before dinner is served. Toasts frequently include a greeting from the parents like traditionally, the bride’s father would speak first, and speeches from the wedding party such as best man and maid of honor.
DANCING
After the wedding toasts, traditional dances have largely disappeared during the last century, and dancing has become more of a free for all.
Even at modern weddings, the newlyweds' first dance as a married couple and parent dances.
WEDDING CUISINE
The most awaited part is the wedding cuisine. Wedding food is heavily influenced by culture. A salad, entree, and dessert are frequently offered as part of a three-course dinner. Buffets are another popular choice. It all relies on the preferences of the couple.
Later in the reception, the newlyweds would often cut the first slice of cake ceremoniously and feed a taste to each other.
Wedding cakes are frequently multi-tiered and ornate. Today's couples frequently choose to save money by presenting guests a sheet cake instead of a costly imitation display cake.
THE GAME:
SHOE for GIRLS and BLINDFOLD for BOYS
This is one of our most popular wedding reception games!
The Girls Game.
Back to back, the newlyweds take a seat in front of their guests. One of their shoes or sandals and one of their companions are in each pair. The emcee or a member of the bridal party serves as host, and the couple must simultaneously answer the following questions by holding up the shoe that matches their response.
The Boys Game.
While on the other hand, the boys will play the blindfold game with a long cord.
It's a lovely location. A really wide space with wonderful landscaping. Clean and well-organized environment. We are all drawn to the color in particular. They arranged the reception quite lovely here. This location enhanced the beauty and significance of the wedding. Everyone had a good time. Such places will live on in our hearts forever.
