Congrats! I'd say that from all the photographs BBC has shown in this video, yours is definitely the best. Both quality and story-telling, it has the best foreground object as well.
I hope this monetizes back to you in a nice way, you will need a lot of money for those Sony lenses :)
I've been thinking about changing all my heavy Canon L series lenses and going for something lighter as with the age I'd like to really go lightweight but I am terrified doing that as the second-hand market here is pathetic :)
Thanks ever so much for your kind words, I've noticed that lenses aren't the cheapest, especially sony ones, however if I was to switch back to canon, it's that new RF mount now to so I would imagine would cost me just as much, the next lens on my list is the 20mm f1.8 I think, still expensive second hand, it'll be a while before I get it lol.
To tell you the truth, I hate the battery side of the mirrorless, it's just not good enough for travel photography. I have to bring at least three batteries and then, returning home or at the place to rest, what, I need to have the same number of rechargers or stay away few more hours? That's just not good enough for me :)
Also, with Canon mirrorless bodies, the weather protection isn't good enough for the more affordable bodies. Also, I would expect some bigger reduction of the weight compared to the DSLRs and yeah, there's few hundreds grams down... Then it's the prices, going up each year. I'm not convinced yet :)
