Looking through some old hard drives, I found some shots of the Humber Bridge, when I was there, a fog came in giving a beautiful surreal glow with the lighting on the bridge, these shots were done 10 years ago using a Canon EOS M camera, my first mirrorless camera, in which I told my friends that these little cameras are the future, and dare I say, I wasn't wrong.
The above shot was taken from the Hessle side of the Humber Bridge, there's parking down there so easy if visiting by car, so you don't have far to walk.
My original edit looked nothing like this, I never changed the white balance, so it looked orange and brown, it was still a good shot, but after doing the white balance, and a couple of other tweaks, this image looks so much better, it's only taken me 10 years to get it right lol.
The pictures really don't do the size of this bridge justice, it was once the longest bridge in the world stretching over 1.38 miles, now I think it's classed as the 6th longest in the world, I did fly my drone around the bridge (not too close though), and as you cannot legally fly over 400 feet, you can't even fly above the towers as they are even taller than that at 510 feet.
I love this image, an old windmill, and you know how I love a windmill, anyhow, I like how this represents the old and the modern, I still think I preferred the old technology, working with nature rather than against it. This is Hessel Mill, which is a large windmill, I can only imagine how this looked when it had it's cap and sails.
A slightly different take as the fog got a bit thicker, not long after this I decided to go home as it got quite cold as well, I really need to go back and do some more night photography of these marvels.
I really hope you've enjoyed these pictures, even as much as me rediscovering them, thanks for reading.
All the best :-)
This image is very very cool.

Only my OCD doesn't like it that he is not in the middle 😂
