Annette Lake

IMG_20230706_122053_Original.jpeg

This is Annette lake. Located inside Jasper National Park, Alberta. Approximately a fifteen minute drive from the town of Jasper. We had the pleasure of visiting and enjoying a nice easy walk around this tiny lake. The walk itself took approximately one hour, including several stops for photos along the way (obviously). Beautiful little lake, however the excessive smoke in the area did take away some of the enjoyment. What can you do? Either stay indoors and do nothing or get outside in nature and enjoy what you can. The choice is an easy one.

Awesome shots as always, beautiful place.

I love the view ❤ ️, your shot is always a standout but an hour walk seems like a longer one, but I'm certain you enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing, daveks.

It was very relaxing, without elevation gain/loss. Thanks @seunruth

Sounds amazing. Thanks for the feedback 🤗🤗

Relaxing views 🙂

It was nice

I go sightseeing in parks when I want to clear up my head. Nature helps refresh the mind. Most times it's better outdoors with flowers, birds and animals then indoors deep in thought with self.
Thanks for sharing these amazing shots. @daveks

Without a doubt. Thanks for visiting @sir-abas

Such incredible scenery! That water looks like glass. Do you know if it's a gradual change in depth or a rapid increase? I wonder whether there is a sort of canyon? I wonder if any divers go there? I would guess that it must be remarkable under the water too.

The water is quite clear, as I will show you in tomorrow's post. In regards to the depth etc, I really did not find out any details about this tiny lake, but there is quicksand here, believe it or not!

Wow.. I never even gave that a thought! That's wild! Hectic..

Your shots beautifully capture the serene beauty of Annette Lake, even amidst the challenging smoke. The juxtaposition of color and black & white adds depth to the experience. Keep exploring and sharing

Glad you liked it @himalayanwomb. I’m really enjoying your blogs as well.

That's a wicked awesome reflecting picture in colo or black & white.

Thanks bos
