It’s day two of our Banff hiking adventures, and a Hike to Aylmer Pass is our objective, but seeing as it is somewhat lengthy, the goal for today was only to go about half-way.

This here is Lake Minnewanka. The trailhead to Aylmer Pass is still about a kilometre from this point. The temperature was really rising about now and it was approaching 30°C. I was starting to think that we really should have gone earlier.

A black & white version of the same.

Lake Minnewanka is only a short drive from the town of Banff, so the shorelines are a popular destination.

Typically gorgeous Turquoise coloured lake water. A Huawei P40 Pro smartphone was used.

Nice shots cuz! Are you using your phone or SLR?

Edit text didn't load at the bottom when I posted. That P40 pro camera is something else!

Hey bud, yeah used the Huawei on these, took a lot with the dslr too, posting those ones later.

Thanks for looking. I really like your photography by the way.

Banff ❤ Your shots are always such a welcome treasure. Awesome blogging!! You're so pro. :)

Thanks @yogajill, hope you had a good summer.

Typically gorgeous Turquoise coloured lake water.

Not crystal clear blue, but still much better than the Duna and the Tisza rivers in Hungary.

That’s for sure
