Back to Moraine

Today we head back to Moraine Lake. I am finally posting the DSLR pics from last September’s hiking trip to Eiffel Lake. Believe it or not, I am viewing them for the first time today myself too. Exciting! This is one of them hikes that I had pondered doing for some time. In and around the same area, is the Sentinal Pass hike, one I have done a few times in the past. Never actually making to the Pass, but to Minnestimma lake (just below). The day did start out with a not so great forecast, but you know me, that most certainly is not enough to stop me from going ahead as planned. Onward and upward is my motto. Here are the first few pics out of my Sony camera, hope you like them.

Onward and upward. Let’s go.

When autumn arrives, I am attracted to the trees when it turns yellow. It's always eye-catching for me.

Me as well, it is just so beautiful. Thanks.

hehe I hugged a yellow Gingko tree in Tokyo, I couldn't help it.

Lol

because there was a hug-a-tree movement, I joined. haha

I love how you used the black and white in the colorful pictures! I’s great to see them in both versions. It’s incredible how autumn manage to express itself even in monochrome!

Yes, once upon a time ago, it was all in black and white. Thanks for looking.
