As I continued along this trail into the Unknown, a maiden hike you might say, the scenery was pretty for a Fall day. Not too hot not too cold, just about right. Walking along, admiring the surrounding trees and whatnot, listening and watching the odd squirrel jump around, and then I spot this picture of a Wolf tacked to a tree. Oh, it doesn’t say “Beware of Wolves”, doesn’t say anything at all actually. Just a picture of a Wolf. So what am I to think? First thought is: sure glad I got my Bear spray close at hand. Secondly: Happy to realize there are two hikers close behind me. What did I do? Continued along the trail having a swell old time, of course! Thanks for stopping by.

nice photos, but i don't think wolves will come next to you during the day
Your probably right, it was late afternoon when I was on the trail.
I don't know man, don't wolves usually travel in packs?? Bear spray may work on 1 or 2, but 5, 6, 7?? Some good tree climbing shoes and a star link connection sound appropriate in your neck of the woods.
That would be nice.... but probably couldn't get to me in time if I was actually in trouble.
Quick question: how many times have you encountered a bear or a wolf your hiking expeditions?
No wolves. Have seen bears multiple on roadsides, but have never encountered one on a hike, thankfully.
Great photos. Looks like the perfect day for a hike. I can almost taste the fresh air.
Thank you for sharing!
Nothing like the smell of fresh pure air!
Seeing the wolf 🐺 picture, how did you think that there were two hikers nearby?
Awesome hiking!
Looks like you hike 24/7
I had just passed them and knew they were more or less close by. Now that winter has set in, haven't been out hiking as much actually. Miss it. Plenty of upcoming trips planned though!
The scenery of fall feels so sad, it feels like fading. While the black and white photography looks really spooky as there was something sinister happened in the place. Added by a towering trees of the unknow a feeling of uncertainty kicks in.
Uncertaintly, yet exciting really. To me, Fall is a favourite time of year, as the colours change, and the leaves fall. All part of nature's cycles. Thanks for stopping by, appreciate the visit.
Here in my place, there is only two weather system, summer day and rainy season. Trees doesn't change in color, older leaf turn yellow and fall to the ground on daily basis you can't even notice it.
Where abouts do you live?
What a beautiful day to be out in the forest! I don't much worry about wolves, they avoid people as a general rule. Those really are gorgeous fall pictures, just seeing those makes me wish I was there!
Yeah, me too. The looong winter is coming to and end soon!
Stunning captures! I'm really impressed by the beauty of your photograph and the place to which you have been!
Hey thanks for looking.
