Here is a close-up photo of the magnificent Bow Glacier Falls, Banff Park. Last Summer we had the opportunity to hike here for the first time, and wow, it did not disappoint. It was truly breathtaking! This is the beginning of the Bow river which flows eastward for 587km (365mi).

If you look closely there are several hikers at the base of the falls. I didn’t go up that close, but should have. My hiking buddy seemed to be in a hurry to return. Maybe next time I’ll go alone.
