Driftwood

If you have been following me for any length of time, then you know that I have a particular fondness for fallen trees, driftwood and other things that float around or near the shoreline. These beauties lay at Hourglass lake, located in East Kootenay, British Columbia. It was a tremendous half day hike up to this isolated lake, and these were some of the first photo ops that really caught my eye. Felt like a kid at a candy store, with all this beauty around us. This is one of the reasons I love hiking so much — the photo ops! Thanks for stopping by.

seeing this fallen tree, reminds me of the turtle bridge

Yes it does! I have more turtle photos to share, but not for awhile yet.

I actually see those woods as sculptures by mother nature herself. It'll be cool to see the Hourglass Lake in person. Totally get that kid in a candy store feeling when surrounded by beauty

You must be a fellow nature lover? Appreciate you stopping by.

thank you, and thank you for sharing them man, these are just classy photos I love all of them

Another one of those lovely photos you take that surely no one else would see as they pass by dozens of times! 📷💯👏

Indeed, when we see beauty we stop and photograph.

The floating oak on the clear water looks like magical. Such a beautiful sight to behold

It was pretty amazing to witness in real life. Thanks for looking.

It turns out that when I looked at the pictures you shared, I also liked the driftwood, one of the reasons was its naturalness and the clear river water. It's really fun when you hike and find beautiful pictures like this.

It is pleasing for the eye to look at..glad you appreciate it.

Bruce is curious about falling trees too. If a tree falls in the forest?

You know the answer bos..

Tru dat

Second one is cool because you have trees over water, trees under water, fallen trees everywhere

Covering all the bases, thanks @davideownzall.

Even though the great wood looks simple, you produce a very beautiful picture 😘♥️

Thank you!

My congrats

The water is clear that what i love about the pictures

Cold clear water yes. Thanks for looking.

Yep. The monochrome is the best filter for these♥️✨

I'm pleased with how they turned out. Thanks.
