Fall hiking, perhaps my favourite time of the year to go out into the wilderness. The heat of the Summer is past, and replaced with cooler temperatures. This last Summer was particularly hot, so the cooler Fall weather was a welcome gift. With Fall, comes the fallen leaves with all their beautiful yellowish orangish colours. So cool. Do watch out for them large tree roots, which sometimes intersect with the trails (don’t want to twist your ankle). You have to love those fall colors! Such nice shots you got there, fall is a pretty time of year! Especially along the east coast of the US and I'm sure up into Canada as well. That first one is almost the yellow brick road! lol
Maybe the "yellow leaf road". Follow the yellow leaves, and find out where it goes...lol.
The color outshined the black and white this time, but that first black and white picture ... it reminded me of sand dollars on the beach ... but in a forest with silver light ... magical!
