This was my official Final Fall hiking of 2024. Most of the leaves that were gonna fall, have fallen. Temperatures have gotten cooler. I have dressed warmer, and I can see my breath now! But most importantly — no snow yet! Wonderful. Let’s make the most of what remains of a beautiful, but cool Fall day. I was pretty much the only one out on this loop hike, except for a few hikers I passed by near the end. It appears that this hike ain’t so popular at this time of year — fine by me. The starkness of the approach of winter is captured so well in black and white ... really a wonderful pairing with the color ones!
Your shots are always amazing, friend. The path surrounded by trees and fallen leaves makes the atmosphere feel peaceful and calming. The blue and white sky adds a fresh impression.
The trees in a lane on either sides, giving way for the passer-by in the center, makes looks so welcoming. The fall of winter ilooks so beautiful in the last 2 pictures.
