The Power of Flowers! We were out for a walk this afternoon and there were many different kinds of flowers around to enjoy. I love all the diverse bright colours. Don't ask me what they are called because I don't know that much about their names. Ask @dswigle, she is a pro!

The first is one of my favorites! They reseed themselves all season long! They are Gaillardia (in the Southwest, they called them Blanket Flowers) They are a giver! You should get some for your yard!
The next one is a Hanging Jew. Much as they have tried to go away from that nickname, it still sticks. Its real name is Tradescantia.
The yellow is a Dahlia Peony (although I am not sure of the exact one. I think Bishop something.
The last is the reliable petunia, a tried and true friend.
That should do it, and it is always fun to work my brain a bit! Hello, Dave! @daveks Happy Canada Day!! I hope you are ready for the weekend!
I knew you would bring all the data we needed! Perfect.
Thanks, I will. Happy 4th of July back at you!
The bokeh effect on the second picture is astonishing. I don't know how that was achieved, maybe it's the lens or maybe the focus, it's beautiful. But it's the first time you're taking a shot of flowers that I've seen.
Thanks, the bokeh wasn’t intentional, but I love how it turned out.
I had to look up what bokeh means. I took a few photos in the past with that effect, without even knowing it. Probably many people did the same.
Yeah, you got that right.
These flowers are so beautiful. I so much love the last one. I love how colorful it looks especially with those little touches of lemon green.
Glad you liked it.
You're welcome 🤭.
That is my style :-) Awesome shots.
A clear rehive.
Thanks
Happy Canada Day!
