I noticed this “gnarly” tree sort of sticking up out of nowhere, seemingly out of place. What caused it to look like this you might ask? My best guest would be, probably a lightning strike got this tree sometime recently. An unfortunate thing for the tree, but a work of art for us humans. Hopefully this tree will be able to rejuvenate itself in time, if not, then nature runs it’s course as usual. The end result — a beautiful vibrant green forest once again! Thanks for stopping by.

the first image looks cool👍 the contrast between the dead tree against the backdrop of dense forest and mountains in the distance creates a dramatic yet serene atmosphere.
Yes, well said. Nature at it's best. Appreciate the comment.
It looks uncertain that the tree will be able to be rejuvenated again. The reason I think so is because everything looks green, and it looks like it's been raining. But it doesn't make it short of a beautiful sight. The black and white is magical
I will check on this tree, maybe this coming summer and check for any progress!
cool contrast between gnarly tree and its vibrant surroundings, I love how you've shared your process of discovering it #blackandwhite #photography #nature
Thanks, beauty in every aspect of nature!
What can I say?... The three photos are wonderful, captivating, exquisitely complex, both in color and in monochromatic!.... A big applause for you @daveks friend!...
Thanks as always @jlinaresp.
Applause for you as always @daveks friend!... It is a pleasure for me to see such great photos! 📷💯

Thank you, thank you.
Oh man, a strike like that on the tree would be a serious one and I think that's the best explanation looking at the way it looks. Some scientists did say plants feel pain too so sad for the tree, that's one thing about trees, they can't even run for cover when danger comes
Such is the cycle of life aka the ecosystem. Interesting thoughts..
hahaha yes AKA ecosystem 😂
I have traveled a lot, in the forests around Yosemite, Tahoe, other places in the Sierras, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and it seems like I always find one like the one in your first picture, a cool gnarly tree looking over the rest. haha
It's always that one rogue or gnarly tree that you remember!!
Yes!!! haha
It looks like burned... But the only one in the green, could have been yes a lighting... Nice view from top tough
Probably a strike, only my best guess. Thanks for looking.
Maybe a thunder attack that got it burnt. Kinda odd amongst the fine greenery. Hope it revives again
Yes, I will check in on this tree this summer.
Very good picture, Bro. Your photo, photography, be my reference to play hivers
