This is tiny Olive Lake, located just minutes away from the famous Radium Hot Springs, inside Kootenay National Park, British Columbia. This was our second stop of the day, in the morning we checked out the Sinclair canyon trail (and Radium lookout), had lunch, then drove here. There was about 10 minutes worth of shoreline trails to explore here. Pretty short, all in all. A pretty little lake to grab a few pics at, but certainly too small for any real hiking. Worth the stop though. Definitely check it out if you ever find yourself in the area!

Nice little lake to explore I guess, lot of tree fall in the lake though. Makes for some cool pictures, and you caught some great reflections. I wonder why it got named Olive Lake. That's a nice little area, too bad the trails weren't more substantial.
Every picture of the lake that you show there is always a fallen tree that is the center of attention. Still ringing in my head about the fallen tree which was made into the most beautiful bridge for turtles. Your shots are good👍
I love the natural geometry and the leading lines in all of your images.
sute all these are much better visible in the BW images :-)
great work !

It was worth the stop, but basically only for a few pics. Just after Olive lake, we went to Cobb lake, where we did a 2 hour hike. Thanks.
Another lake with a lot of logs inside, I think it's no surprise that you'll be interested in shooting. The radium itself is filled with wonders
I like logs and lakes (obviously). Thanks for stopping.
Such a beautiful landscape. It's amazing to see such breathtaking views from the comfort zone of my home. Too good.
Appreciate the kind words @shamis.

I would like to recommend trying Snapseed.
You can use it on your Huawei P40 Pro smartphone too.
I rarely use it, but it has many good functions and options to edit photos.
It properly works on my Motorola Moto G22 (Android 12) smartphone.
Yes, I've heard snapseed is good, and I should try it sometime!

lovely shots. the black and white versions look like they are still shots from a war movie of the past for some reason
I can see that. Thanks for looking.
