It is Friday, again! Friday the 4th day of April. Tell me about your week that has been? Just a regular work week or perhaps you were on holidays, or better yet you are retired! Oh to be retired , that would be the ticket — someday. Speaking of retirement, at what age would you consider retiring? And how big of a “nest egg” do you figure you would need to retire comfortably? One million, five hundred thousand or perhaps two or three million? Obviously it does depend on the country you live in or the country you plan on retiring to. Do tell in the comment section below. Thanks for stopping by.

These are places recommended for those retired professionals. They are too lovely to visit-- such apeaceful and stunning view. Great photos😊

Indeed, retirement cant come too soon. Thanks.

My pleasure! Just a suggestion😊

Last picture is dreamy and unimaginably beautiful. It honestly looks like the shot was taken with a drone. So I think the angle or the position of elevation you took that shot is really creative

Thanks, it was cropped photo. A picture within a picture if you will. Something like this is not possible with that Huawei Leica lens. This is the original:

The original sized picture is astonishing. Definitely that length of coverage will never be possible with the Huawei. Thanks for showing

Usually don't go to the forests that often but your photos bring back awesome moments with my family there. Nice photos. The black and white ones look cool very cool. I like the forest path best. Also, retirement would be nice, but I’d miss working too much

Oh...you'd miss working too much..must have a great job/career. Tell me more about that if you like.

oh yes it took 2 days but it was just art of a vacation on Christmas holidays so with the work part, I was covered. I saw animals I didn't want to see if I was alone there haha

Nest egg of a million?

That's a rather small nest in my country's currency.

Retiring comfortably, we're in the upper range of hundreds of millions. And retirement age of perhaps 60-70...

Love the aerial pictures though

I guess I forgot to mention that the currency was in US or Canadian dollars. What is the local currency where you live?

NGN

Shit ass currency😂😂😂

Yeah -- its low low.

Wooow.
That’s first picture was fantastic.
Got me screaming over here in appreciation. My week was mostly indoors working off my phone and laptop. I love that creek with the woods. It’s a creek right?
Awesome views. Both the black and white pictures have have their own uniqueness and are beautiful.

Appreciate that. Actually that creek is a lake. What kind of work do you do btw?

Work btw? I don’t understand
Pls rephrase

Btw = by the way..

Such pretty pictures in the forest... The hiking season is fast approaching! Ideally when you retire you want to have enough to live comfortably just as if you were working. In the US that means around $2 million depending on where you want to live. In NYC or Los Angeles much, much more! Hopefully Hive at some point will help us all out in that endeavor, but it has a long way to go yet!

Hoping Hive can play an important role in our retirements, someday far into the future. Long-term horizon is key.

This week feels fun even though it is accompanied by a busy schedule. Talking about retirement is interesting, imagining how wonderful it would be to enjoy a day without deadlines and have lots of money.

Yeah, imagine no deadlines, no boss to answer to, no employees to pay...

Here you can't decide when to retire, you need to reach a certain age and certain amounts of year worked, my predicted retire age according to prediction is like 70 years 😂😂😂 back in the days when it was possible who retired at 50 years won the lottery

70 seems to old to retire. Feels like "retire then die", doesn't make sense, unless you simply can't afford to retire.

Yeah it's so that they don't have to pay you too much as you gonna die soon

I bet that makes one feel better lol.

No doubts, my #PHOTOOFTHEDAY!!!!
