What sorts of things do you encounter on any typical hike? Well, let’s see, jagged rocks jutting out of the ground for starters (this was the top of the “hill”). Then we have some tall trees, what’s a hike without some decent forest activity? Next, a fallen log decaying, which makes for a popular gathering place for ants and their friends. Next we have wild flowers. Purples and whites, aren’t they pretty! I am not good with identifying flowers, anybody know what kind these are? Thanks for stopping by.

The purple flowers were an amazing shot, well done! It looks like a gorgeous hike out there. I love seeing wild flowers along the sides of the trail, it's an added bonus to hiking.
