Sundown or Sunset, one of my favourite times of the day. Sunrise is a close second (if I can manage to get up early, which is rare). Today the weather was fantastic, too bad I had to work. It would have been a lovely day to be out on the trails. I guess I will need to wait for the weekend to come, in order to get out there. Someday retirement will come, unless I win the lottery of course. Slim chance of that. I suppose I need to work, just like most people do. At least there are the weekends, and holidays , to enjoy our Canadian Rockies. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my friend, this time the fabulous colours of the sky and the reflections on the water have overcome my predilection for B&W!.... This photo (below) is something for the cover of a visual art magazine... The vanishing point, the surface of the water, the horizon in the upper third... Everything conspired for an exquisite composition!... And to ‘’put‘’ all this in a vertical panoramic format is a demonstration of superior talent!.... This was so beautiful ... both in true color, but the silver satin of black and white surprised me for its loveliness ... I have been going through some things and there is something about how devoid of the colors one expects and yet still so beautiful that resonates with me right now.

The sunset looks like the sky is on fire, I would say it you captured it at the right moment in time. Feelings are awaken in front of such splendid nature spectacle.
