Getting so close to that glacier, it feels like you could almost touch it! Wow, this part of the trail is just incredible. Surreal. The Victoria glacier within touching distance (almost). At this point, we were at about ninety minutes into this hike, with about thirty minutes to go. The higher we go the greater the excitement. Thankfully the weather turned in our favour, just as we approached the trailhead. Perfect weather for this journey to the tea hut, here on the Plain of six glacier’s trail. Above Lake Louise, inside Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

You hikers are really brave people because I can just imagine the heights you guys have had to climb and then looking downward..... It gives me the bumps but the glaciers are really beautiful.
I never get too close to the steep edges..believe it or not, I do have a small fear of heights.

That's a gorgeous glacier. The closer you get the more you realize just how bit that mountain and glacier really are... Makes you feel small in comparison.

There is a small place that serves tea and snacks for those finishing the hike. It is officially called the “plain of six glacier’s tea hut”.
