I’ve got a few more photos to share from our trip to Waterton Park (imagine that!). Here, we are coming back from the amazing Bertha Falls, and some of the scenery is breathtaking. We even ran into the odd obstruction too, in the form of a fallen tree. It looked like a piece of art, in its fallen state. As we were approaching the end of the hike, the view of the “beach” really gave it a tropical feel. It reminded me of a Hawaiian beach actually! Only difference is, this trip cost me a fraction of what a trip to Hawaii would have cost lol. Hey, I’ll I choose the Canadian Rockies every time. How about you?

While I enjoy the rugged scenic BC Coastline, my late long time roommate always loved the Coast mountains, coming from the featureless wheat fields of Saskatchewan she was always impressed with the majestic mountains of BC.
No surprise, prairie people do tend to move away. What’s not to love about the mountains!
What an incredible place, definitely the park must be spectacular and more economical for you than hawaii haha, in some cases, black and white photography is much more attractive to me than color photography. But you look great in both! Cheers!!! I loved this selection of pictures you share with us.
I was thinking though, in the dead of winter, probably Hawaii would make more sense haha. Glad you can appreciate the black and whites!
I am too astound everytime I see a photos of nature like it makes me calm everytime I see one. The places you've taken those photos are so beautiful, it shows how you really appreciate the mother nature together with it's beautiful creation. Actually, I am also a fan of black and white photography since it gives an emotion to photos likely a sadness or different emotion. I also wish to have that kind of skill in photography since honestly I am not good in taking photos in different angles.🤞
Glad you are also a fan of black and white photography! Like you say, it does add a layer of emotion and/or feeling to the photos. Thanks for looking.
These are so beautiful and I have to say I think the black and whites are my favs. I could so enjoy a trip there, but Willejoy it through your perspective. ❤️
Thanks for appreciating the black and whites, and for dropping by.

I knew you would like it. Thanks brother!
With the possibility of fallen trees all over the trail, how do people move these fallen trees?
Likely a few people either push it aside, or they take a chainsaw and break it up into pieces and haul off. This one is quite large, so probably a chainsaw.
Ohh, that's a relief to know..
It's a trap!! Did you go around, over, or under that tree?
Over!
Of course. Smart move! 😀
What a wonderful place to visit hope one day I can visit it also. 💛
Everyone should visit the Canadian Rockies at least once in a lifetime!
In God's perfect time , I will ☺️
