This is the mighty Yoho river, as it rushes toward Takkakaw Falls, then on to Kicking Horse river, British Columbia. The river does move at a pretty fast clip, so you certainly wouldn’t want to fall in here. Watch your step around the river!

Oh my!!! Your pictures are making me really excited for summer!! Wow.
Looks like a perfect hiking trail. So beautiful and the color of the river is so beautiful.
I enjoy looking at your photos and that's how we get to know our beautiful planet. Well done.Buy my frend 😉
Please, would you put me on your list of companions so that people can see my work and my efforts. I will be grateful to you, thank you and I wish you all the best in the future.
Why does the water appear so white? Is there some sediment mixed into it? Almost appears like it is mixed with some clay. Our rivers get a little muddy around here when it rains a lot, but not whitish. I assume it has something to do with runoff and soil types. Either way it really makes the photo all that much more interesting!
Love that trail! Looks like it was an awesome place to hike.
Good question. Not sure why its so white. Maybe something to do with the depth of the water, but good question.
The last one (again) is spectacular and so different in the color! It really enunciates the front trees and the back ones disappear. I love it and yet, I love your black and white more.
