A constant hazard of doing photography, especially during rainy season.
Rainy Season is over now, but that is when I took this shot. I know rain's coming in the photo because moments after taking the shot it all let loose and I got very wet. I don't mind getting wet in the rain, but it's a little worrying when you have an expensive camera with you. Luckily it was fine.
This is a good spot to see herons and other nice birds. They are always flying up and down this area. In fact, often there is a group of photographers that gather here to do their bird photos.

Once I go out for an outdoor photoshoot. Then it started raining, I took out my disposable raincoat, and since it is raining heavily, I wrap my DSLR first. Covering myself was not a priority 🤣
Yes, exactly! When I was first learning the ropes, an old pro told me always bring a bag of some kind to cover the camera. Ideally one with a hole in the bottom so you can continue shooting in the rain. I have one of the rain protective bags you get at the camera stores, but I also just use plastic shopping bags at times.
