Another Creative Session
I love when people approach me wanting my specific style of photography! When someone asked for a Swamp Witch shoot I was like yes!!! Let's do it!!!
Iso 125 ▪︎ 55mm ▪︎ F4.5 ▪︎ 1/100s
The above is my signature pose. When people locally see someone standing like this they are like "Yup Liz took this pic". I started using it on maternity but have moved into it for solo non maternity sessions!!!
Iso 250 ▪︎ 200mm ▪︎ F6.3 ▪︎ 1/100s
I used my zoom lens for this session as she was legitimately in the Swamp and I was for the most part on the bridge. There were snakes we had to contend with as well. We visually seen 2 cotton mouth snakes, which means there were probably many more hidden.
Iso 250 ▪︎ 200mm ▪︎ F6.3 ▪︎ 1/100s
This one was the first one. We already knew about him from a prior scouting mission. These are super venomous and could kill within minutes.
Iso 250 ▪︎ 80mm ▪︎ F5.0 ▪︎ 1/100s
I do believe we selectively chose the correct props for this. Including the debate in my head in the store on candle color. Red and Green are perfect contrasting colors in color theory. Which brings me to; recently I've seen some local photographers who missed the mark on color grading. I want to say something but that's on them not me to he honest.
Iso 1000 ▪︎ 200mm ▪︎ F6.3 ▪︎ 1/100s
So this Cotton Mouth snakes was curled up on a tree stump. The clients significant other almost ran into him. Luckily he was spotted and I was able to get a really good shot of it. Photographers really do put themselves into some dangerous situations for the shot!
Iso 250 ▪︎ 170mm ▪︎ F6.3 ▪︎ 1/100s
If you look really closely you can see the little fairy house hiding on the tree!!! I like to give little Easter Eggs in my fantasy photography!!
I have a behind the scenes video of this photo shoot if anyone was interested. I just started a YouTube Channel that will feature how tos and its!
Can someone comment on how to embed a YouTube Video? I tried looking at markdown code for it but I don't see it!
I hope you enjoyed! Today I am editing an engagement session from yesterday and working on book 2 of my novel. Would anyone be interested in reading a fantasy reverse harem novel with wolves and witches and magical curses?
I don't think you can imbed a Youtube video but you can just put the URL or share the link in between
< center> youtube video link goes here < /center>
just delete the spaces after the < part of the code. You can just put the Youtube link but it may not center the image of the link. You can also click the chain looking thing for links in the editor here and you can just have blue text that when clicked links to the video.
Excellent shots! I really enjoyed this post Liz! Keep up the great work.
Thanks. I thought a long time ago I've seen someone embed a YouTube video... but I guess I'll just post the link and maybe a screen shot of the video... (posted the link this time tho)
scary, but nice pictures...
