I still have about another week or so left until my Crystal Candy is ready to harvest. This plant is filled with frosty trichomes and the majority of them are milky. I am hoping in the next week, I see a lot more amber colored trichomes on the buds.
With my GDP I recently harvest, I paid very close attention to the buds and made sure that there was a good mixture of amber and milky trichomes so that I got the best body high and not as much of a head high out of it. I am hoping that this strain will do the same and provide some great body effects. I really think that a lot of my success with working out and stuff is due to how I closely watch the trichomes on my plants so that I get some really great pain relief and relaxation. That pain relief and relaxation has allowed me to do the proper recovery workouts when my body would usually be in too much pain to want to move it around.
There are so many misconceptions about cannabis and the benefits that it can have when used properly. So many people think that cannabis users are nothing but lazy people that just want to sit around all day and be high. But they fail to realize that there are so many people using cannabis just to enhance their quality of life. I use cannabis daily and I see it as a natural form of medicine that doesn't have the negative side effects that the pharmaceuticals have. I have seen how pills have destroyed people's brains and their quality of life suffers because of the side effects.
I hope you enjoyed the photos. I am going to be working on getting even closer and getting more detailed macro shots. I need to get some more extension tubes and work on a super macro camera set up. When I was taking these, I had to use a tripod to hold the camera as I moved the plant around to get different pieces of it in focus. I am hoping that I won't have to crop in as much and lose a lot of detail like I have been having to to get these shots. It is pretty expensive to get a really nice macro set up going. Hopefully crypto continues on its upward trend so that I can get some cool toys to get better pictures for everyone.

These are some amazing macro captures my man, excellent job!
The added benefit of these microscopic macro shots is the fact that it gives a deeper insight into the trichomes maturation levels, so from a growers perspective it's cool that you can produce beautiful shots that also help you decide when harvest time is.
You also bring up some great points about the benefits of cannabis and the collective perceptions surrounding it.
Laziness is often defined as a physical attribute in society, and is narrow minded with most peoples thinking.
The mind can be lazy, or the mind can be active, and we can choose how much work we put our minds through in any given moment.
The process of growing cannabis takes a person who is not lazy, because it requires so much in the line of deduction of variables, future planning, and daily mental work. The more mental energy a grower puts into his grow, the better the results will be most of the time.
The ironic part is most people who think this way would probably benefit from a few tokes :D
Thanks man. I am hoping to get some more equipment to be able to get some really close up shots. I would like to get in about twice as close as I am able to right now. It would be really interesting to see what everything looks like even closer.
The photos look amazing, I love the macro photography. Besides the close-ups, I really liked that delicacy effect in each capture, the lighting looks very subtle.
As for what you comment about Cannabis, one of my aunts has a project in the US, in charge of researching about the benefits the plant has on humans and all its properties. I don't remember exactly what degree she studied, but I know it has to do with plant genetics.
So I support you with what you say, a person who consumes cannabis is not necessarily lazy or drug addict, there is a very clear difference between using a plant taking advantage of all its benefits in a positive way, to consuming to be "happy" 🤣. Greetings, @derangedvisions!
Thank you. I try and show the beauty of cannabis in ways that are different from how people normally see it. That's awesome that you have family studying the benefits of cannabis. It really is a great plant that has so many medicinal benefits to it.
The macro photos look great, man. Look at all those bubbles. I think they're called trichomes. It's not their fault people think cannabis is bad. Most of them just believe what they hear and you never see any good news about cannabis on TV. It's on TV every day, people dying from drugs and so on. Many don't even know the difference between synthetic drugs and natural cannabis. I don't know much about it either haha but I know it's not the same thing.
While it's true that people die from different drugs each day, there hasn't been any deaths that were directly caused from cannabis. It's one of the few things that you can't overdose from.
Yeah but as I said people don't aware of that. Wish they do soon.
Seems like yesterday I sent out the seeds for this! I am going to have to look up when @loonatic sent me these so I know how long I stored them for.
have some !WEED bro ;)
Thanks again for these seeds man. I really hope that I like this strain.
Amazing photos man! Almost done!! 🔥
Thanks man. Not much longer and then I will be enjoying this strain. I can't wait.
What spectacular photos, a truly splendid detail of the trichomes, you are really very good, it shows! Even the detail of the pistils is beautiful. They look almost ready, how much will it be? About 20/30% amber... I like to harvest at different times, to also see the effect and taste after it changes, but I stay in a range from 20% to 80% amber trichomes. Happy weekend friend! !WEED
Ya, I try to have about 30% amber trichomes when I harvest. I wonder what 80% would feel like tho. That would be a crazy body high.
I like it a lot at 30%, but I also collect other % so I have different effects for different moments. 80% in a full Indica is very strong on body, but perfect for bedtime. If, on the other hand, I smoke during the day, but want to stay active and have a creativity boost, 30% is perfect! Have a happy weekend 😉.
It is truly like seeing these pictures of your beautiful plants is like seeing a new world, what fantastic pictures.
Thanks man. I like showing off cannabis in a way that most people do not get to see.
LOL for a moment i thought those were crystals😂 before i read everything.
in my head i'm like "do people actually grow crystals?"
forgive me @derangedvisions
great job all the same, i learnt something new today🙂
That would be cool to grow some crystals
The photos are great, it's like seeing creatures of an extraterrestrial amount in a science fiction movie, I like it. greetings
It really does look like an alien planet.
Photos are great. These are some very beautiful looking heads! I think that like everything else, the use of Cannabis cannot be harmful if used without abuse. It’s just a natural reliever!
One love! 🇪🇹
Thanks homie. I appreciate the compliment.
Love these macro's!!!!
Thank you for the compliment
Ugh, looks nice! 😎
Thanks
In the beginning I had my doubts about how it all went with the growth of your plant, but you flowered it perfectly, really a monster plant. I'm sure the taste is smooth and healing
