I can't wait

I have been flushing my first Northern Lights plant for about a week now as it is getting ready to harvest. I spent some time checking out the trichomes this morning and @jonyoudyer says I have about a week left until the trichomes are at their peak and the plant should have its highest levels of THC and other cannabinoids.

The trichomes are almost all milky white, but I want to wait until I have some that are amber colored on the tips as well. When the trichomes transition from the milky white to an amber color, the cannabis has more of a "couch lock" type of feeling and is better for sleep.

Since I use most of my cannabis for sleep and pain management, I think having a nice balance of milky trichomes and amber ones will be the most beneficial for me. It is crazy to think that after all this time, I am almost done with this plant and will be moving on to the next step in the growing process.

It will probably take about 5-7 days for it to dry enough to begin the curing process. Then I plan on curing for at least a month or two. I will probably have a jar that I cure for 3 months too just to see what the difference in strength and taste will be with a longer cure.

So frosty!

The younger of the two has a lot more frost on it than this one too. I think that one is gonna be a lot stronger too. It has gotten a lot more nutrients than this one did.

A very curious fact is that marijuana is able to remove asthma in people who are asthmatic.

greetings brother

There are a ton of medical benefits to this plant. I think it has helped keep me from getting COVID during all of this, even when my whole family got it and I did not.

interesting, when consumed it makes you immune to covid, very medicinal and perfect for all kinds of ailments.

Beautiful pictures, and beautiful buds.. nice and frosty !! Heat and lack of water stresses the plant and makes it go up the resin production as well.. Congratulations on your crop !!

Interesting. I will have to keep that in mind for the future. Thanks for the compliment.

This is the first time I've seen a plant like this. It looks fantastically unreal))

Hmmm, looks pretty yummy! Do you stress the buds? A friend of mine who met a grower from Amsterdam said that the guy used to stress his buds by squeezing them and even bashing them about a bit! He said the stress made them produce more THC.

Maybe give it a go and test it against buds you don't stress :-)

There are some low stress techniques that I have been using during this grow. They are autoflowers, so they are a bit more delicate than traditional cannabis plants, so I have to be careful with how much I stress them. If you stress these too much, it can stunt their growth and production. I can't wait to try this strain out though.

Verry beautiful 👌 I am impressed this tree ।

Thanks

Woow man look amazing✌🏻

Thank you. I appreciate the compliment
