It's been a little bit
Its been a few months since my last post. I know that I had said I was leaving Hive, but to be honest, I miss posting here. It had become part of my routine over the last seven years, so to not be sharing my photography and seeing what my friends here are up to was getting a bit hard.
Over the last few months, I have really started to take my health and fitness serious. I have cut out all sugar and carbs from my diet and have been giving my body time to heal from the garbage food I had been eating the past few decades.
I am down to my lowest weight in over 20 years, which is wild to me, especially now that I am a grandpa and in my 40s. Most people will tell you that your health goes downhill when you are my age, but that does not have to be the case.
My grandson is growing up so fast too. He is rolling around, pulling himself up to stand and seems to be getting ready to begin crawling. He is getting a lot more vocal now as well and I don't think it will be much longer until he is learning words to say.
I have been continuing my photography journey and have begun shooting events for my wife's work. I recently went to a ribbon cutting ceremony for a fire station that was just completed and took some pictures of that event and I really like how they all turned out.
There were so many people there for the ribbon cutting and it was so cool to see all the little kids excited about the fire trucks. While I was taking pictures, it reminded me of when I was a police officer. Police and Firefighters have a lot in common and it was cool to see the fire fighter's families there supporting them and to see their kids dressed up as little fire fighters.
Now isn't that an epic mustache? Fire fighters always grow pretty cool mustaches for some reason.

Man, what a joy to see you well, it's been a while, that's true, but I'm glad you're gradually returning to the platform, I really missed seeing your pictures with that professionalism with which you do them, I'm glad everything is fine and you're doing diet and exercise to stay in shape, I have friends with more than 40 years and thanks to the exercise routines do not look the age, and you do not look that age either man, so you keep preserved
Thanks. I am hoping to age like a fine wine. The key is to move your body and limit the junk that you put in it. The food here in the US is horrible for us.
So nice to see you around and read positive words. I am happy for you. Hive is still around, but I am also only a ghost at least as creator. Still checking it daily and curation for Curangel. Like this, I am up to date of what is happening with my Hive family.
Well, and I have now third kid myself. Still remember how I was posting photos of Luka (my oldest). Good old days, but I somehow don't have energy to start publishing again. We will see what future holds!

I've cut a lot of sugar out of my diet as well as my cholesterol was getting too high. I love chocolate but I'm doing quite well. I've also lost weight. Trust me, if you are only in your 40s you are still young!
Good job cutting the sugar out of your diet. We only get one body here in this life, so we have to make sure to take care of it.

To be health conscious in a society that promotes unhealthy living is not easy and requires a lot of extra effort that most people aren't willing to put in. You and your family are a shining example of what it means to live in alignment with mindfulness in your daily routines, and it shows with how great you all look.
There's nothing wrong with quitting and coming back after taking some time to refocus energies for self improvement. Life is a creative process and nothing in the art of creation is ever cast in stone during its creation.
You may have started a trend of OG bloggers making a come back, now my posting trigger finger is feeling the itch too :D

Thank you. Having the little one in our house really has been such a huge impact on all of us. He is teaching me to slow down and be more present each day. My perspective on life has completely changed over the last year or so.
