Fun in the Sun

On Saturday we all went to a pond near our home and had a picnic and soaked up some much needed sun. We have all been cooped up in the house, so this was a great escape for us.

I haven't taken my drone out in a long time. I think the last time I flew it around was when I was in Thailand and almost crashed it out in the ocean. I was a bit nervous flying it over the water, but decided that if it was going to crash, then it was my drones time to go.

One thing that has been nice with all of this quarantine going on is that the pollution in my area is gone. The sky is a lot clearer now and we can see a lot further than before. I live in an area that is surrounded by mountains on all sides, so all of the pollution just sits in the valley like a bowl.

Hopefully the clear skies last once all this is over and it doesn't just fill up with pollution real fast again. I think I can get used to these clear skies.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my post. You are awesome!

This is some of the most magnificent drone shot I've ever seen. Wow well done.

Thanks man. I appreciate the compliment.

Definitely, you're welcome, the first one tickled my fancy, looked like a formula one racing track from that view 🙂

Spectacular surroundings you have there! Drones sure have changed the scope of photography...

=^..^=

Thanks. Drones sure do make things look from up in the sky.

I had one for a week, I found it hard to control and bought it for my Urbex missions.
After almost losing it I sent it back. It was a £500 piece of gear. Too expensive to lose.

I bet you could get some awesome photos with a drone of your Urbex adventures. You should have kept it and practiced flying it a lot more.

I was not impressed with the quality of the ones I got tbh. A lot of my Urbex relies on silence and stealth, a noisy drone doesn't fit into it, as appealing as it may seem.

Looks like the risk of loosing the drone was worth it. Awesome photos!
Also, that pond looks like a lot of fun. Can you ride a jetskie on that pond?

No you can't ride jet skis there. There is no launch dock for them and it is too small for it.

It is one of my next hobby i want to learn , flying cool drones 😊

They are a lot of fun. You should get one.

i will soon when i have the money and i can go outside :)

Some really wonderful shots as a photography lover this was so mesmerizing to watch !

Of course it has been a difficult time for everyone, being locked up for a long time affects a lot, going out once in a while helps, nice photos man.

Those are some beautiful drone images! And a pain to see for people like me that are under forced quarantine... ;)

Hopefully your quarantine will end soon so you can get out and get some pictures.

@derangedvisions I hope so, here state of emergency should end the 2nd of May and we will still have restrictions but not full quarantine like we have now. It will take some time for us to be able to resume our really normal lives... Oh I will, my Canon needs action!

Awesome photos, what drone do you use? I just crashed mine, it was scary, but at least I got that perfect last shot 🤦‍♀

I'm sorry but I must ask... Where do you live?
I find it an ideal place to live.

I live in Utah. It is ok here. I am hoping to move soon. I do not like the people much.

The place is beautiful and seems peaceful. But of course sometimes there are people who disturb happiness.
