I have so many pictures from the Holi Festival and one of the coolest things about looking through the images is seeing all the happiness on people's faces.

This festival is all about love and bringing people together. It was such an amazing time and I can't wait to go next year. I was surprised by the turnout because there were so many people, but I guess a lot of people had been sick of being cooped up for the past two years as well.

I hope you enjoy these photos. Also, don't forget to get your entry in for my Photography Contest. There are just a few more days left before this week's theme closes. So check it out here:

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my photos. I had a lot of fun taking these and then going through and editing them. It is crazy that a few years ago, I made a book from my old photos from the Holi Festival. I may have to make another book from this year's festival.

Awesome shots! Was your camera also full of paints ?😀

It got pretty dirty. I spent some time cleaning it up and it looks brand new now.

Best day ever!!!

Looks like fun man, hopefully one day I'll experience something like this.

I hope you can. It is a really cool celebration.

Amazing again!
How does the festival get cleaned up afterwards? Does the rain wash away all the colours?

The colors are food based, so they just wash away or soak into the ground. They aren't bad for the environment at all.

They're good based? Just made straight out of good?

Lol. Stupid autocorrect on my phone. It was supposed to say food based. But they are good based as well I guess.

Holi the festival of colors, it where you paint yourself and participant with various colors, making a dynamics array of beauty and happiness.

The basic part of this festival is to celebrate the victory of good over evil. A large bonfire was also lit up to mark the end of Holika a conspirator in the mythical story of Vishnu.

A bonfire would have been an awesome way to end this.

This is the opposite of monochrome. The happiness definitely translates through the photos! Great job browski.

Thanks homie. It was such a fun event.

It definitely looked fun!

Amazing!

Also known as the “Festival of Colors,” Holi is celebrated throughout India and is usually held in March. According to the Hindu American Foundation: “Holi is a Hindu festival celebrating the start of spring, which is the season of hope and new beginnings. Holi is celebrated around the world and is recognized as a national holiday in India.

Thanks
