He was so excited
We got a little bit of fresh snow last night and it is still flurrying a bit outside. Dusty, Keiichi and Rusty were all standing at the backdoor wanting to see outside, so I decided to bring them all out one by one and let them see what they were missing.
Dusty was the most adventurous of the cats and walked around for a bit before wanting me to pick him up and bring him back inside.
I think Dusty likes the snow the most out of all the cats. He looks like he belongs out in it.
When I set Keiichi down at first, he just stood there looking confused and probably wondering why his paws were getting wet and cold.
He took a couple steps but then froze in place and wouldn't move until I picked him up and brought him back inside.
I think Rusty liked the snow the least out of everyone. He was pretty much frozen in place and would not move.
He tried to take a step but then realized that there was cold everywhere, so he just waited for me to get him.
He was so excited when I picked him up and brought him back inside though.
Hopefully this keeps their curiosity under control for a little bit and they don't try to get back outside until the snow is gone. Hopefully people here are taking care of their cats and dogs and not leaving them outside. I never understood people that get pets and just leave them outside and never spend any time with them. I've always got at least one or two of my animals with me when I am home.
They are so beautiful!! :)) Reminded me of my cat when I was still living in Europe, he was curious of this weird white thing on the floor, but definitely didn't like the feeling of cold on his paws. He saved himself by rather staying on the clean path :D

I'd love a bit of snow over here. Althought to be fair I'd be the same as the cats haha just stand in it for a moment and wait for someone to take me back home.
Me too. We currently have sleet instead of snow. The current temperature is 0 °C.

About two years ago we got some snow here in Ireland around February, so there's still time for some proper snow. Happy new year to you too, have a good one!
Sleet is the worst. It is all of the stuff I hate about winter without any of the fun.
We really need the snow this winter. Our lakes are drying up, so hopefully we get a lot more snow.

Dusty looks so poetic in the first photo, he is tremendous model. I miss Franky, how is he, have you been to visit him? I remember his picture next to Dusty, he looked like his big brother.
How do you tell Rusty and Keiichi apart? In these photos I don't find many differences between them. I think is Rusty in the last picture, what's happening to him, is he in killer mode? XD
We have no contact with the people that got Franky. My son was the one that got him and found the people that took him.
Rusty has a smaller face than Keiichi and Keiichi is a lot bigger.
These photos are extremely warm!))) And you have very beautiful cats. I also have a black cat. But he, on the contrary, likes to walk a lot. I have 4:42 in the morning and I had to wake up and let my "Thief" out. He loves to bite my nose at night to open the door.
LOL, my cats wake me up like that if they get locked in the room, but I installed a little cat door for them to get out of our room and they love it.

Yeah we had like a foot when we were told just a couple of inches, lol. I hate the snow, so does my dog, lol.
We have been getting the opposite. They say we will get a lot of snow and then we only get an inch or two.
