Isn't that terrible? I was thinking the same thought of lawsuits, only because it would definitely be slippery when wet. At one time, I bet there was no chain to hang on to until somebody sued. (I could almost guarantee that) Nothing is changed until there is a reason.
Too bad because it really is quite beautiful there.
I bet you are right and there is a climb at your own risk but, do you know what I found out from my lawyer friends? It doesn't really matter with a disclaimer, people can still sue. How sad.
When I lived in Europe, I was appalled at the things that were allowed without handles or guardrails! :) When someone died in an accident that happened, it was just sad, but, nothing changed.

I remember everyone telling me I was crazy when a car went through a red light and hit me dislocating me knee and cracking a couple of ribs and nit airing the driver I just never thought about it
