On my way home from work, I decided to take a walk around the streets of my neighborhood.
"I'll probably enjoy the walk, and maybe I'll come across some interesting detail that I could share with you," I thought.
In the last few days, as the day started to get longer and longer, the temperature also started to rise.
There are no more morning frosts and during the day it is sunny and clear, so the temperatures are almost summer.
All that heat, enticed the plant world to bloom.
How long will this walk take, if I stop at every bush or tree branch with buds, or if I stop to enjoy the beauty of my flowers planted by my neighbors?
And it was not my intention to stop. I had the idea to just walk, but as with every step I took, the gentle breeze carried the beautiful scents of blossoming buds to me, I simply had no choice. Next to every white, yellow, red or purple flower I had to stop and enjoy its beauty and fragrance.
This post will look more like a photo album from a flower shop than a post with interesting things from a walk, but I have to post all these pictures here. Maybe sometime in the future they will remind me of the wonderful smell of early spring.
I was very glad when I saw one of the neighbors under a blossoming tree, who, like me, stopped and enjoyed the fragrance that spread around him as he enjoyed the view of the beautiful white flower petals on the branches.
This walk of mine today, on Thursday, was exceptional. I sat until it got dark, when I took several more photos of blooming tree branches with white and pink flowers as a contrast to the gray and dark sky.
Whether it was tuesday, wednesday or thursday...
It doesn't matter.
I remember this walk for the beautiful awakening of spring in my neighborhood.

Soooooo many cute white little flowers on those trees! Like snow :D
As long as the weather doesn't change again, so that it really snows 🙂
If it's snowy and cold, the temperature is zero... If that happens, we already know what's coming next, there are no cherries, apricots 🫣
As my sad would say then - another year without apricot means another year without apricot rakija 😂
We also have plums for rakija, but how can we do without apricot jam? 🙂
