Last year, we visited a local poppy field. The poppies usually come out around June time. We decided to make a return visit this year as they're a lovely sight.
We parked in the layby and walked through the farmyard and up to the poppy field.
A woman was out walking her white poodle which was a nice contrast next to the red poppies.
I tried not to damage the poppies, sticking to the little footpaths to take photographs.
We made our way to the top of the field where we had a stunning view of the poppies.
It's a shame we didn't have a nice blue sky but you can't win them all!
