Hello Hive!
I was absent for a few months for technical and personal reasons, but I'm back and looking forward to continue growing in the community.
In these almost 5 months of absence several things happened in my life that took me out of my routine, and I'm happy to have my days back in order.
Without further ado, I'll show you what I'm here for: photos!
Hola Hive!
Estuve ausente unos meses por motivos técnicos y personales, pero ya estoy de regreso y con ganas de seguir creciendo en la comunidad.
En estos casi 5 meses de ausencia pasaron varias cosas en mi vida que me sacaron de mi rutina, y me siento feliz de tener mis días nuevamente en orden.
Sin más preámbulo, a lo que vengo: fotos!
When my dear Elis, today's model, was showing me her dress options for the session, she said that she had been wanting to wear that red dress for a photo shoot for a while.
She was going to use it in another photoshoot with another photographer, but they never worked out and she was left with the idea. I chose it without knowing that story because I fell in love with its color hahaha.
Cuando mi querida Elis, la modelo del día de hoy, me estaba enseñando sus opciones de vestido para la sesión, dijo que tenía tiempo con ganas de usar ese vestido rojo para unas fotos.
Lo iba a utilizar en otra sesión con otro fotógrafo, pero nunca concretaron y ella se quedó con las ganas. Yo lo escogí sin conocer esa historia porque quedé enamorado de su color jajaja.
We scheduled the session on a Saturday morning and the transport almost made @nioberojas and I didn't make it on time. Niobe always accompanies me to assist me during the photoshoot, either with the lighting or with posing and framing ideas.
The tones of Elis' garden made a great contrast with her dress and makeup, but there were a couple of photos that I decided to capture and edit a little different from the rest.
Los tonos que tiene el jardín de Elis hacían un gran contraste con su vestido y maquillaje, pero hubo un par de fotos que decidí capturar y editar un poco diferentes del resto.Pautamos la sesión un sábado en la mañana y el transporte casi logra que @nioberojas y yo no llegáramos a tiempo. Niobe siempre me acompaña para asistirme durante las sesiones, ya sea con el manejo de la luz o con ideas de poses o encuadres.
There are days in which I take pictures and I have a hard time deciding between similar versions of the same one. I feel like something like that happened with these 4 photos, because I really liked them all hahaha.
Hay días en los que tomo fotos y me cuesta un poco decidirme entre versiones similares de la misma. Siento que algo así pasó con estas 4 fotos, porque me gustaron mucho todas jajaja.
Llegado este punto, decidimos hacer el cambio para el último outfit: un vestido negro que me llamó la atención.
Black is my favorite color and I love the way Elis dresses look on her, so when she proposed that option I couldn't refuse.
The only negative thing was that we were running out of time for the photoshoot, so we took only a few pictures with that last outfit.
El negro es mi color favorito y amo como le quedan los vestidos a Elis, así que cuando me propuso esa opción no pude negarme.
Lo único negativo fue que ya se nos estaba acabando el tiempo de la sesión, así que hicimos pocas fotos con ese último outfit.
